Disc Jockey, Sunny Moon

As a disc jockey, Sunny Moon has been providing entertainment for weddings, receptions, corporate parties and various school functions for 30 plus years. Sunny prides himself with the ability to "read" a crowd, knowing what music is working and, most importantly, what music isn't working. Unlike some disc jockeys, Sunny likes to meet with the bride and hopefully the groom to go over their musical likes and dislikes. This is really important so that when the reception comes around everything is to the couples wishes. Sunny only plays family friendly, radio edited music. During his 30+ years as a disc jockey, Sunny has collected a lot of different kinds of music to suit just about everybody's taste, from the music of the '40's to today's ever changing genre. Sunny's Disc Jockey Career

Sunny began his entertainment career while attending the University of Evansville in 1969. The first event was at the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity house. Although the equipment was at the very least entry level, the dancing results were a real eye-opener. In 1970 Sunny began teaching US Government and coaching track and field at Jasper High School in Jasper, IN. Many school dances with Sunny at the controls followed.  In 1973 Sunny took the Head Track & Field coaching position and taught at Franklin Community High School in Franklin, IN. Later that year he became the featured disc jockey at Wall Street and the Exchange in Castleton, Indianapolis, In. After completing his Masters Degree at the University of Evansville, he became the lead disc jockey at Lucifer's at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis, IN, where he became the special events director. While at Lucifers, he put together a pro sound system and played his first wedding reception as a disc jockey at Wabash College in Crawfordsville,    IN.  In 1979 Sunny was hired to direct the music program at Cricket's Lounge located in the Sheraton East, which is now the Radisson located at 1-465 and Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis, IN. Sunny and his crew provided DJ entertainment at Quincy's located in the Adam's Mark Hotel located at the airport. He then moved to Whirlygigs located in the Radisson Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing where he provided disc jockey and video dance entertainment.
